The PULS DIMENSION QS40.244 is a compact and efficient 960 W DIN rail power supply for a regional input range of 170 to 264 V AC. Its adjustable output voltage of 24 to 28 V DC and nominal output current of 40 A make it suitable for demanding industrial applications. BonusPower temporarily provides up to 150% of the rated power, or 1,440 W, while the integrated output capacitors support motor starting, high inrush currents and the absorption of regenerative energy. The current-sharing function supports balanced load sharing during parallel operation. The remote ON/OFF input enables external control of the output. Efficiency of up to 94.6%, a potential-free DC-OK relay contact and screw terminals support reliable operation, straightforward diagnostics and fast installation.

Description
The most outstanding features of the DIMENSION Q-Series DIN rail power supplies are the extremely high efficiencies and the small sizes, which are achieved by a synchronous rectification and other technological designs. The QS40.244 is a device for 200-240V mains voltages. Large power reserves of 150% support the starting of heavy loads such as DC-motors or capacitive loads. In many cases this allows the use of a unit from a lower wattage class which saves space and money. High immunity to transients and power surges as well as low electromagnetic emission makes usage in nearly every environment possible. The integrated output power manager and input fuses as well as the near zero input inrush current make installation and usage simple. Diagnostics are easy due to the DC-OK relay, a green DCOK LED and the red overload LED. A large international approval package for a variety of applications makes this unit suitable for nearly every application.
